This project included the extension and replacement of water mains to increase redundancy and capacity of the city’s water system. Improvements were located at 16th Street,
Railroad Avenue, Shetland Rimrock, and Garden Lane. Installation of the waterlines involved two (2) creek crossings, asphalt removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, waterline testing, traffic control, plugging/abandoning existing waterlines, service tie-ins, insulating/casing waterlines, pavement markings, rock excavation, and other incidental work associated with the waterline installation. Installation also included returning the surface to original conditions including the concrete path and asphalt pavement surface.
